Hi John,

In the run up to the general election, you'll be hearing a lot about events called 'hustings'. We've got a big announcement coming on World Ocean Day, so keep your eyes peeled πŸ‘€

If you already know what a hustings is, you can skip to the end. If not, let's help get you clued up!

So, what is a hustings [[link removed]]? (not a typo, it really is a 'hustings')

A hustings gives communities the chance to ask political candidates questions around their plans and priorities for their constituency. It’s not just a chance for us to hear from the candidates, but for them to hear what matters to us. 🌊

They often include a meet and greet, a Q&A session, and sometimes a moderated debate amongst candidates. Soon, we'll be asking you to get in the room with us at a hustings so we can ask those all-important ocean-saving questions.

Tell me more about a hustings! [[link removed]]

Have you ordered your free Vote Ocean [[link removed]] poster yet?

For the ocean,
