In April, Dr Hilary Cass published her landmark review of services for gender-questioning children.
Its scathing assessment of current practices attracted international media attention and prompted NHS England to agree to review its policies for both children and adults. Scotland and Wales have both paused puberty blockers for new patients under the age of 18.
I recently sat down with Stephanie Davies-Arai of parent group Transgender Trend, paediatrician Dr Julie Maxwell and our Head of Education John Denning to discuss the far-reaching implications of the report.
