Pause in communications during the pre-election period

Following the announcement that a General Election will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024, the Civil Service, Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) and other arms’ length bodies have entered a pre-election period. This places constraints on some of our activities, particularly with regards to our external communications. This arises from the need to maintain, and be seen to maintain, impartiality during an election campaign.
We are therefore pausing our monthly newsletter and some other communications until after the election period.
