When I was a kid, I lost three fingers on my left hand while working in my family’s butcher shop. I still get a $12 flattop haircut from my local barber back home and my shirts are stained with dirt.

Every year, I spend several weeks planting and harvesting. I maintain my own heavy equipment and deliver my wheat in an eighteen-wheeler. I buy grease by the case and seeds by the ton. I butcher my own beef. And other than my wife, Sharla and my son Shon, I have no help.
