John, no matter who you are or who you love, everyone deserves to live a life free from discrimination. It's time for LGBTQ+ Texans to have an ally in the Senate.

Ted Cruz has been attacking the LGBTQ+ community for his whole time in office.

Cruz called the Supreme Court's decision to legalize gay marriage "clearly wrong" and voted against the Respect for Marriage Act. He opposes the Equality Act, arguing that outlawing discrimination against LGBTQ+ people is "none of the government's business." The list goes on and on.

As a Texan, I believe these attacks are shameful and don't represent who we are. As a civil rights attorney, I believe Cruz is attacking our fundamental right to live free from discrimination. As our next Senator, I promise to do better.

I have a long record of supporting LGBTQ+ rights and fighting against discrimination. I'm committed to ensuring fairness and equality for every Texan. But if I'm going to take down Ted Cruz, I need folks like you with me every step of the way, John.
