June is a vibrant and colorful month, the month we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community!
Pride month is an important time to celebrate and honor the courage it takes to be yourself, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
As vice chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, I am committed to promoting policies that safeguard the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ individuals. This includes advocating for inclusive health care, opposing housing and employment discrimination, and addressing the unique challenges experienced by LGBTQ+ youth and people of color.
As extremist hateful rhetoric and anti-equality agendas make their way through legislatures across the country, we must reaffirm our commitment to fighting against discriminatory legislation and fostering inclusivity for generations to come.
