Every week on the campaign trail, John, I sit down with Carolyn to discuss our progress on the trail -- where we’ve been and where we need to go to elect Carolyn to Congress in November.

And each week, we come back to this truth: All of what we’ve achieved so far is made possible because of the thousands of grassroots supporters like you who have stepped up to make our change campaign the success that it is today.

For this and for all that you’ve done to carry our movement this far, I am so very thankful. But John, the reality is that it’s going to take all of us continuing to work together each day from now until November in order to finish strong. If it is within your means -- and it’s okay if it’s not -- will you consider making an investment in a better future for Washington’s Third today?

John, it is crystal clear that you recognize -- as we do -- the imperative of investing in the future of our community here in Southwest Washington, in the idea of a strong democracy that lifts up folks who too often are forgotten by career politicians.

We view each dollar raised as a referendum on some of the most critical issues facing our community. Each donation is a call to lower the cost of prescription drugs, to expand access to affordable health care for all, to protect Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
