Must see email from Planned Parenthood…

Friend,

The big abortion lobby is now petitioning the SUPREME COURT to overturn orders in Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Alabama that require them to STOP abortions during this pandemic.

Pro-life governors in those states want to stop non-essential procedures, like abortion, so that personal protective equipment and medical supplies can go to doctors and nurses fighting the coronavirus.

I saw an email sent by Planned Parenthood’s CEO asking for “urgent” donations to help them win their Supreme Court battle. (I’ve forwarded it to you below.)

The CEO calls it “heartbreaking” that they have to stop killing children, wounding women, and hoarding personal protective gear from hospitals during this pandemic.

How cruel can some people be…

With America’s largest abortion chain Planned Parenthood raising funds for its Supreme Court battle, please FIGHT BACK by making a pro-life contribution of $25, $50, $75, or even $100, to help us SHUT THEM DOWN.

For LIFE,

Hon. Marilyn Musgrave
Vice President of Government Affairs
Susan B. Anthony List

Subject: [Happening NOW] We’re taking this to the Supreme Court

BREAKING NEWS: We're taking this abortion battle to the U.S. Supreme Court. Rush your gift to help us defend care in Texas and beyond

It's been a long and heartbreaking two weeks for people in Texas. Hundreds are being turned away from the abortion services they need because Governor Abbott has used the COVID-19 crisis to ban abortions, deeming reproductive care "not necessary."

We vowed to do everything we can for Planned Parenthood health center patients, so we're going to the Supreme Court of the United States to fight back. Sexual and reproductive health care can't wait. Every day this ban stands, patients suffer and more politicians see Texas as a playbook to follow.

Make an emergency donation now to help us defend and deliver care. We'll put your gift to work immediately — to fight for abortion in the highest court and continue to help people across the country access lifesaving reproductive care throughout this crisis and beyond.

If we don't stop Texas in this moment, other states will follow. This is an attack on abortion — and an undue burden to place on people during a pandemic.

No one should have to wait for a pandemic to pass to access their constitutional right to an abortion, but providers are being forced to turn patients away. Not only does it endanger the patient, it undermines public health and actually will put more strain on our already-overwhelmed hospitals. And you and I both know that no one should be forced to have a child against their will.

Why do we need the Supreme Court to take immediate action? Here are four very good reasons:

  • Abortion is a time-sensitive, essential medical procedure.
  • The executive order forces people to travel out of state during a pandemic.
  • Doctors, not politicians, should decide what is medically necessary.
  • It is just plain wrong to play political games with people's lives.

This pandemic is being used as an excuse to erode abortion rights. Together, we must urge the Supreme Court to put a stop to it.
