Congrats to Our Dem Winners!

Dear John — Congratulations to our winning Democratic candidates in yesterday's Primary Election, starting at the top with President Joseph R. Biden, U.S. Senate candidate Andy Kim, Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Congressional candidate Sue Altman!

Lots of excitement from last night's results! We saw more Dems than Republicans turn out in towns where we can win new council seats: Chatham Township, Lincoln Park, Morris Plains and Randolph! Great effort in Washington Township for a successful write-in campaign to add Brian Varela to the ballot to run with John Holt in November! And, congratulations on a well-deserved win to Dover Councilwoman Sandra Wittner against a challenger!

We now have our official candidates for County Commissioner and Surrogate! Let's kick off their campaign on Thursday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m., at Jockey Hollow in Morristown, with special awards and guests!

Join us to break the Republican stranglehold on county government! Support three elected officials who will listen to residents; be a voice against unwanted development projects; and look to work with municipalities to expand shared services and save taxpayer dollars. Our candidates for County Commissioner are local council members: Jonathan Sackett of Rockaway, Justin Strickland of Chatham Borough and William "Bud" Ravitz of Morris Township.
