Our partners at Center for Popular Democracy Action (CPD Action) are faced with a daunting challenge: to simultaneously block the power of fascist and white supremacist forces and build the power of grassroots organizations led by and accountable to working-class communities of color.
Their pathway to do so is through their Big National Housing Campaign, where all 53 of their grassroots affiliates are organizing to make housing a human right through winning Green Social Housing for All. We as RG have decided to campaign with them, to leverage our social and financial capital (including money, time, energy, and power) to support the direction set by frontline leaders and fight together for their goals.

As November's election approaches, we’ll share how voters think about housing costs and the decisive role renters can play in the 2024 election. In partnership with HIT Strategies and Right to the City, our battleground state (AZ, MI, NC, NV, PA) poll deeply probes critical questions about the salience of housing affordability among battleground state voters. Your participation in this discussion is key to shaping the outcome.
With this information, the Center for Popular Democracy Action Network is working strategically to refine our focus and messaging for non-partisan voter engagement programs and partisan efforts. This conversation will be appropriate for both 501c3 and 501c4 audiences.
