AYD is hitting the ground running this June - we will be at Capital Pride this Saturday, June 8th [[link removed][]%7D] ! We’re meeting at 12th and G entrance of Metro Center at 2:00 PM then setting out to find a good parade viewing spot at 2:15 (details below). Come celebrate and show support with us!
Once your comfy parade shoes are off, get your dancing shoes on because we are attending a Salsa Night with AYD and the ArlDems Latino Caucus [[link removed]] on June 10th at 6:30 PM. Whether you’re a pro or it’ll be your first time on the floor, let’s bust a move together!

Join AYD as we view the Capital Pride Parade! As political attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community continue to escalate across the country, it’s more important than ever to celebrate how far queer civil rights have come and commit to continue the fight.
We’ll meet up at the 12th and G Street Entrance of Metro Center at 2pm (meet up time may change so keep an eye on this event!) and will head over to find a spot on the parade route at 2:15pm.
Parade will start at 3pm.
Dress festive but keep the weather in mind. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, wear plenty of sunscreen (and don’t forget to reapply!) and have water with you to stay hydrated!
