Hi Friend,

I was recently doing an interview on a podcast and the moderator suggested I sounded like an idealist. They meant this as a compliment and, to me, an idealist is simply someone who envisions what "could be" and isn't satisfied with "what is."

This campaign is based on the belief that we must fundamentally change our national conversation to envision a new America — one that is focused on the collective well-being of everyone.

This is what a new America would look like:  

1) We no longer have childhood poverty

2) Everyone has affordable and accessible healthcare

3) Everyone has enough food to eat and a roof over their head

4) Women have complete control of their reproductive health

5) Mass shootings are a thing of the past

6) Everyone has a livable wage to take care of their family.

Yes, perhaps this is idealistic but, as a famous singer once said, "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"

If you believe as I do that this is not only possible but morally required, then I'm humbly asking for your help to change the conversation, to fight for what "could be" and help in the realization of a new America.
