BIG NEWS:
We’re teaming up with The States Project to support state legislative candidates in top battleground states.
Can we count you in too?

Friends, you’re a dedicated member of this grassroots team, so we wanted you to be among the first to know:

With state legislatures at the forefront of protecting democracy, the NDRC and The States Project are launching a new partnership to invest in these races — and win.

We’re implementing data-driven electoral programs to support candidates in Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — because we have a major opportunity to elect or protect pro-democracy, Democratic legislative majorities in each of these states.

As Attorney General Eric Holder put it, “This year’s state legislative elections will determine whether states turn toward democracy or autocracy.” So we’re asking:

Will you make a $30 donation to the NDRC today to help protect democracy in 2024 and beyond?

We know that this kind of partnership is critical to winning big. In 2022, we worked together to help Democrats make historic gains in state legislatures on newly fair maps, achieving trifecta power in Michigan and Minnesota and gaining the House majority in Pennsylvania.

Now, we must do it again. As Attorney General Eric Holder said recently:

"The stakes could not be higher for millions of Americans and the choice could not be more clear. Right now, we are seeing gerrymandered Republican legislative majorities pursue anti-democracy agendas: from passing draconian abortion bans to Jim Crow era voter suppression bills…

"With the stakes so incredibly high today, and in the consequences for years to come, we must all be involved in the struggle to preserve our democracy."

– Eric H. Holder, Jr.,
82nd Attorney General of the United States
Chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee
