That's right -- Trump's floating the idea of firing Dr. Anthony Fauci. Dr. Fauci -- who's been the Director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases for over 30 years and served both Democrats and Republicans alike -- should be the LAST person Trump threatens to fire right now.
In the midst of a pandemic, this action by Trump is absurd and dangerous. And it must be stopped as soon as possible.
Now, Trump doesn't care what working people or Democrats think, but he does care what the Republican-controlled Senate thinks. Because, without them, his ambitions are doomed to fail. That's why we're calling on them to stop this dangerous dialogue.
Friend, if you agree that we need to protect Fauci's position, sign our petition and demand that Joni Ernst and Mitch McConnell put a stop to Trump's threats. It could be a matter of life or death.

We need Republican leadership to nip this in the bud and keep Fauci's job secure so that he can continue keeping us safe.
This isn't about politics or personal gain. We've got a global pandemic rampaging through the U.S. like a wildfire. If we're going to douse it, we need leaders who can remain factual and non-partisan -- leaders like Dr. Fauci.
Joni Ernst and Mitch McConnell need to take their jobs seriously and stop Trump from making an incredibly dangerous mistake. They have the power to stop Trump's reckless impulses, but only if they act.
