                         Lansing, MI 48893

*What:*              The MSP is inviting the media to attend the graduation ceremony for the
                        145th Trooper Recruit School. Members of the media should be prepared
                         to provide valid press credentials.

                         During the ceremony, the 54 recruits will be sworn in as MSP
                         troopers by Col. James F. Grady II, director of the MSP. 

                         Upon graduation, the new troopers will report to their assigned MSP posts
                         across the state. The post assignment list can be viewed here [ [link removed] ].

                         Recruits and their family members will be available for interviews
                         immediately following the ceremony (approximately 1:45 p.m.).
