Hi John – Kerry Donovan here! 

As a rancher, a lifelong resident of Colorado, and a former State Senator from the Western Slope - I am thrilled to be joining the Colorado Democrats as they take the show on the road with the inaugural DemWest this Saturday!

There will be tasty food from local ranchers, wine from the vineyard just across the street, and live music.

During my time in the Senate, I was the only Democratic senator representing a very rural district. With every rural leader we elected—like Representatives McLachlan and Velasco—issues like the future of our water and the high cost of living got more attention and solutions.   

I’m proud we have come so far in competing and winning in rural areas, but we have so much more work to do. We must compete at EVERY SINGLE LEVEL - school boards, county commissioners, town councils, and sheriffs.

We need your help to do this. DemWest will celebrate being a Democrat on the best slope - The Western Slope. Come join me for a summer banquet at a great vineyard in Palisade. It will be great to have old and new friends to toast (with local wine, of course) to the future and all that we can do when we do it together.
