As we step into this vibrant and vital time of year, we celebrate all of the LGBTQIA+ members of our St. Louis community who enrich our district every single day.
But, John — Pride Month is not just a celebration; it is a commemoration of a struggle. We must never forget that Pride started as a protest against police violence and LGBTQIA+ discrimination. So let me be clear, this month is the result of organizing, uprising, and activism rooted in the Stonewall Uprising. Fifty-four years after Stonewall, we are still fighting the GOP’s extremist efforts to restrict the rights of our LGBTQIA+ community…
I, for one, have made it my mission to fight every day to reject the GOP's attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community and push for a more just, inclusive, and equitable society.

In Missouri and across the country, we are witnessing a terrifying rise in anti-trans legislation and hate crimes. But our movement is a movement of love, and together we are advocating for policies which proudly declare that Trans Lives Matter and Black Trans Lives Matter. And I will keep emphasizing the need to protect and uplift these communities, because every person has the right to live their life as their true, authentic selves.
Our collective fight for justice and freedom is why I support H.R. 15, the Equality Act, which seeks to provide consistent and explicit anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQIA+ people across key areas of life. And to this day, I am leading the push for the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) to finally be certified and published, striving for constitutional recognition of gender equality.
So, John, can I count on you to donate to my campaign today, so I can continue to lead the charge for equality and advocate for our LGBTQIA+ communities in Congress? [[link removed]]

As we celebrate Pride Month, let's honor the legacy of those who fought before us and commit to carrying their fight forward.
Together, we can create a future where every person has the freedom to truly embrace and celebrate their identity. Where each and every one of us can live freely and authentically.
With Pride and Solidarity 🏳️‍🌈,
Cori
[link removed] [[link removed]] As a frontline Ferguson activist, a formerly unhoused single mother of two, a nurse, a survivor, and a pastor, Congresswoman Cori Bush knows the struggles our communities face on a daily basis. In 2020, on a mission to save lives, she defeated a 52-year political dynasty; in 2022, St. Louis sent her back to Congress with a strong mandate to champion racial, economic, reproductive, gender, health, and environmental justice.
Now, Cori is running for re-election to continue doing the most for everyone, starting with those who have the greatest need.
