“Rogers is up against far-left liberal lunatic Slotkin”

That’s right: Donald Trump called out Elissa by name when in Michigan last week, and we’re gearing up to fight back against the onslaught of additional attacks headed our way.

Last week, Donald Trump came to Michigan for his fifth time in 10 months and tore into Elissa directly by name, calling her a “far left liberal lunatic.”

That’s right: “a far left liberal lunatic.”

It’s not the first time that Trump has attacked Elissa personally and lied about her record, and it won’t be the last.

Wednesday’s rant is a sign that Elissa and this particular Senate race have gotten under Trump’s skin. Because he knows what we know: to win the presidency, you have to win in Michigan.

More likely than not, the party that wins this Senate race will also be the one to win the White House.

So here’s what else Donald Trump knows: the strength of our grassroots campaign will be one of the biggest obstacles on his path to the White House.
