Hi John,

I mentioned last week that I had drawn the short straw and was up late watching the donations come in before the end of May.

Well, here’s some big news: We did it!

Thanks to grassroots donors like you, we hit our fundraising target and are on track to have the resources needed to fight back against the $30,000,000 in dark money that the GOP just announced they will spend in California.

This is a big fight, and we aren’t out of the woods yet, but because of supporters like you, we have a shot!

And it’s important because control of the U.S. House of Representatives is going to come down to tossup seats right here in California. And when we organize, we win!

June is going to be a critical month for us — especially with our FEC Filing Deadline at the end of the month — but for right now, I just want to share our sincere and heartfelt appreciation.

Together, we are going to take back the House Majority and fire Speaker Mike Johnson.
