Dear neighbor, 

I know most hard-working American families don’t have time to watch congressional hearings. That’s why I wanted to make sure you saw my comments from today’s House Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General Merrick Garland. 

Back in March, Special Counsel Robert Hur testified before the Judiciary Committee that he had interviewed President Biden regarding classified documents. Mr. Hur stated that the written transcripts of these interviews were accurate depictions of the interviews conducted.  

Now, extreme MAGA Republicans are demanding that the Department of Justice release audio of the same exact transcripts, so that they can highlight instances of President Biden stuttering. President Biden, like roughly 3 million other Americans, has a stutter. He overcame that disability to become President of the United States. Why would Republicans want to highlight that? The answer is simple: they want to smear President Biden simply for having a speech disability.  

That is despicable.
