West Sacramento, CA — In the latest showing of unrelenting momentum by Christopher Cabaldon’s campaign for State Senate, Cabaldon’s campaign announced endorsements from Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA), California Laborers State Council, and Laborers Local 185 today.
California State Council of Laborers Executive Director Joseph Cruz said:
“Christopher Cabaldon will be a strong voice for working families in the State Senate. As Mayor of West Sacramento, he has a proven track record of creating good paying jobs, quality housing that is affordable, and real opportunities that put working families on the path to the middle-class. The Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA) is proud to endorse Christopher for State Senate.”
The California State Council of Laborers is the largest construction trade union in California, representing over 75,000 hardworking women and men throughout the state.
In response to these endorsements Cabaldon said:
“I am humbled to have the support of the people who build our roads, bridges, transit systems and so much of our essential infrastructure. In the State Senate, I look forward to working closely together to ensure our region and state are creating good-paying jobs, protecting worker safety, and driving progress on the issues that make real differences in the lives of working families.”
This announcement comes on the heels of several high-profile endorsements released by the Cabaldon Campaign in recent weeks, including the California Democratic Party, California Young Democrats, Congressman Mike Thompson, California Professional Firefighters, and Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522.
In the coming weeks, Cabaldon’s campaign will release additional endorsements from local leaders, labor organizations, and small business owners as Christopher continues to share his vision and priorities with voters throughout State Senate District 3.
The election will be held on November 5, 2024.
