It’s no secret that the extreme right-wing has done everything they can to eviscerate progress we’ve made in protecting our environment, exacerbating the climate crisis they continue to call a hoax.
The EPA is a critical department in our fight to protect our environment. Just recently, the department invested nearly $12 million dollars into Central and Southern Illinois to expand their Clean Bus Program and deliver 40 clean school buses that will protect the health of students and lower vehicle energy costs for districts.
