At yesterday's press briefing, Donald Trump said, "When somebody's the president of the U.S., the authority is total, and that's the way it's gotta be."
That attitude is a key reason why we're 28-1 in lawsuits against him -- and why we must continue working hard to defend Washingtonians' access to health care, our civil rights, and our environment. He is the president. He is not a king. We will continue to remind him he's not a king.
My three Republican opponents oppose all of the lawsuits I have filed against the Trump administration. In contrast, I am committed to holding this administration accountable.
