2023 Was Our Hottest Year Ever

We can't go on burning resources the way we have. Democrats know that, which is why we support legislation for clean air and sustainable farming. We know that rural folks deserve unpolluted skies and clean drinking water. 

Did you notice the forest fires that burned all last summer, preventing us from going out and enjoying the sun? The Canadian wildfires cast smoke over all our backyards on and off for nearly the entire summer. 

 

2023 was the hottest year on record, surpassing 2022, which also broke the record for hottest year at the time. The amount of trees that burned in Canada represented a landmass larger than South Kora.
