John,

We are at a critical crossroads:

Since we started this campaign, 9 states have committed to making Vote by Mail available in upcoming primaries. That's over 33 million more Americans who won't have to risk their health to exercise their constitutional right to vote. But time is running out, and voters in 8 states are still at risk.

Here's an update on our impact so far, and what you can do to help sway the remaining Late Eight states that aren't offering Vote by Mail to protect voters from coronavirus:

In the last month, our movement has:

  • Reached 3 million people with information about Vote by Mail, including an online resource to help Americans learn whether their state will allow them to vote safely;
  • Made 7,254 calls and sent 27,141 letters to U.S. Senators and state election officials to push for Vote by Mail in every state;
  • Convinced VA, WV, IN, DE, AL, MA, AR, NY, and NH to offer Vote by Mail for upcoming elections; and
  • Raised $10,128 to fund voter outreach and pressure campaigns in the remaining states.

Thanks to your efforts, the entire nation is pushing for Vote by Mail – with major news outlets covering it, and Jennifer Lawrence, Sia, Monica Lewinsky, and Khloe Kardashian jumping in to support the campaign.

But Americans in 8 states are still at risk. And last week's Wisconsin primary showed us how disastrous it could be if we don't act quickly.

Here's how you can help:

  1. Tweet at the governors of the two most populous states in the “Late Eight” to urge them to make Vote by Mail options available for the close to 20 million voters living in their states.

  2. Join our phonebank this Thursday to reach voters and connect them to their state election officials.

  3. Donate to the campaign to ramp up the pressure to bring Vote by Mail to all 50 states in the primaries. Every dollar you give will help us reach ten voters, and will be matched by a generous donor.

Nobody should be worried they'll get sick if they go vote. In times like these, it's up to everyday Americans to protect each other. Thank you for doing what you can to help – it's working.
