لقد قام قادة النقابات من البحرين وكولومبيا والهندوراس وهم جميعاً شركاء لمركز التضامن العمالي بشرح كيفية توفيرهم للفرص والضمان للنساء ممن لديهن الكفاءة والمهارة للعب أدوار فعالة و قيادية في نقاباتهن، ورفعهن لستوى التوعية بين النساء بما يخص حقهن في مكان عمل آمن، إضافة الى التحشيد والتعبئة الذي قمن به للضغط على حكوماتهن من أجل المصادقة على الأتفاقية الدولية المهمة والمتعلّقة بالعنف والتحرش المبني على أساس النوع الإجتماعي (الجندر) في العمل
