Team, Happy Pride Month! 🌈

As we come together to celebrate love, diversity, and the strides we've made toward equality, we must also recognize the urgent challenges that still face the LGBTQ+ community.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen extremists in legislatures across the country introduce an alarming amount of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and book bans aimed at silencing and discriminating against the LGBTQ+ community.

The fight for equality is far from over. I know we must do more to ensure that everyone feels included, whether that be in the halls of Congress or in classrooms across the country.

That’s why I am a proud cosponsor of the Equality Act, and I promise to continue to be a champion for the rights and dignity of all individuals, regardless of who they love or how they identify.

This Pride Month, let’s honor the progress we’ve made by doubling down on our efforts to protect and expand the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

Together, we can push back against hate and ensure that every person can live openly and proudly.
