Happy Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈!

Pride is a celebration and a protest — a month dedicated to love, equality, the LGBTQ+ activists who forged the path before us. I’m proud that since being elected to the NYS Senate in 2018 we’ve made great strides towards inclusion but there is still so much work to be done. 

I join my fellow Brooklynites in celebrating the continuing march towards inclusion and empowerment for the LGBTQ+ community this month and always. No matter where you're from, who you are, the color of your skin, or who you love, this is your city.

I hope you all have a beautiful Pride month! May it be full of community, celebration, and joy.
