John, I hope this email finds you well, but let's be frank — these last few weeks have been difficult. We're all feeling the collective weight of this pandemic on our family, friends, and neighbors.

Governor Tom Wolf and I have been fielding a lot of questions in regards to when people can gather with extended family and friends again, or get back to work. It's tough to admit that the answers to those questions are uncertain, but they depend on how successful we are at staying home.

What's not uncertain in Pennsylvania is your right to vote. The upcoming primary is now on Tuesday, June 2, and you can vote by mail from your couch.

So get to it: Click here to request a mail-in ballot right now. It takes just a few minutes.

Last week's election in Wisconsin was a real-time warning of what November could look like if we don't establish a national baseline of distance voting.

But thanks to Governor Wolf's leadership, we now have a vote-by-mail program that was crafted and passed through a divided legislature. In Pennsylvania, your vote and your voice are 100% assured through the uncertainty of this pandemic.

This is the most consequential election of our lifetime, and we're not going to let an unprecedented pandemic stop us from exercising our right to vote. Click here to get started on an application for a mail-in ballot.

THANK YOU. Stick together, but apart (unless you're living with family or other roommates), Pennsylvania.

-John
