We just passed the candidate filing deadline, which means we have our slate of hardworking Democrats running to take down the far-right in the November elections – and I'm so proud of what we were able to accomplish. 

From our House and Senate caucuses, to our county parties and congressional leaders, we worked with hundreds of people across Kansas to recruit and encourage common-sense Democrats to run in more races this year than the last several election cycles!

Contesting every race that we can is key to fighting Republican extremism in every corner of the state, and it's all made possible by folks like you.

This is no small feat in our state, John... but the work is just getting started. We've got just over 4 months to support these campaigns, grow our coalition, and elect Democrats to break Republican control in Kansas – and in such a time crunch, we're setting up for one of the biggest End of Quarter Fundraising Goals our organization has seen. Can you chip in this June to help set us up for success this November?

John, we want to thank everyone who's stepped up to run – it takes guts to jump on the political frontlines in places where Democrats would usually never run. 

In just the last 3 cycles, we've grown to have Democrats running in 92 of 125 House districts, 34 of 40 Senate districts, all of Kansas's Congressional districts and all 5 of the State Board of Education races.

We've built up great momentum, John – people are excited to run and elect Democrats across the state – and we can't let that go to waste. 

Our operation is powered by grassroots donations that allow us to continue building the infrastructure we need to support these candidates through November, grow local parties and partnerships in communities across Kansas, and set the foundation for 2026 and beyond.
