Hi John,

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to ban gas and diesel vehicles, but you can fight back right now.

Here’s what’s happening:

Trudeau released a regulation to phase out gas and diesel vehicles.

The feds will only allow dealerships to offer new gas and diesel vehicles as 80 per cent of their inventory in 2026. By 2030, that number will be down to 40 per cent.

By 2035, the government plans to completely ban the sale of new gas and diesel vehicles.

How will governments pay for new power plants to run all these new electric vehicles? By hiking your taxes and power bills.

If people want to buy an electric vehicle, that’s great, but it should be their choice.

Some people think they can sit back and do nothing because the ban could be scrapped after the next election.

But doing nothing isn’t an option.

Check out this advice for organizations who want to drive change.

“If you do have a policy proposal, don’t tell me about it,” wrote Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre. “Convince Canadians that it’s good for them.

“When they start telling me about your ideas on the doorstep in Windsor, Troi-Rivieres and Port Alberni, then I’ll think about enacting it.”

The message is crystal clear: if you want to stop bad policies like a ban on gas and diesel vehicles, you need to speak up.

Here’s a way for you to take a stand.

Will you sign the PETITION to stop the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles?

We, the undersigned, call on the prime minister to protect taxpayers and say no to a ban on gas and diesel vehicles.
When you stand with thousands of other Canadians – you’re making a difference. And that’s how you stop bad decisions from happening.

All the best,
