As of Sunday, 53 long-term care facilities in Virginia had reported more than one confirmed case of COVID-19 among residents. This statewide map ([link removed]) shows the regions where the affected communities are located. Residents of senior care facilities account for at least 50 of the 149 deaths caused by COVID-19 in Virginia.
