This project is a specialized mission trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in mid-July to the 2024 Republican National Convention. The trip is sponsored by World Harvest Stillwater (WHS) Church, a nondenominational Christian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
This size of Republican Convention is held every four years. Republican Party Delegates from all 50 states and 6 territories come together and pick their nominee for President of the United States. Fifty thousand (50K) people are expected to attend. President Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee.
The “Convention Fest” is an exclusive area for vendor booths that is within the
U.S. Secret Service secured the perimeter of the Convention site. We have reserved a 10X10 tent in which we will set up our booth. We are not selling anything. We are giving away spiritual encouragement in the form of spoken prophetic words and prayers, written words/poems, and pictorial drawings.
Our plan is to provide a space where people can get a personal prophetic word of encouragement and prayer during all the days of the Convention meetings, July 15-18, 2024.
Seasoned evangelist/missionary Sonny Huhtula, from World Harvest Enid (OK) Church, is co-leading the team. He and his wife Leslee are founders of AtticMinistries.com. Their motto is, “transforming lives through love.”
We have a specific plan for three teammates to minister to one guest for seven minutes at a time. Ideally, one teammate will speak a word, one teammate will write a word, and one teammate will draw a word – all for the one guest. The result will be a generous gift of spiritual encouragement.
We pray that this individual encouragement will spread throughout the Convention-goers and magnify encouragement from God for hope for our country.

There will be no charge for our guests, but donations will be graciously accepted. We do need to raise money for the expenses of the trip. We have six people on our team, four women and two men.
Co-leader and organizer of the project is Carolyn McLarty, DVM, a member of WHS, who is an alumnus of the Republican National Committee having served from 2008 to 2020 as Republican National Committeewoman for OK.
Half of the Team will go up early to Milwaukee to set up the booth as is required by the U.S. Secret Service. The total rough estimated budget for this trip is under ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
