Dear John,
First it was a hoax.
Then it was just the seasonal flu.
It was contained.
It was Obama’s fault.
“200,000 Americans will die.”
“No, only 100,000 Americans may die.”
“We’re doing a great job!”
The Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic has been a deliberate disaster from the beginning. And their incompetence and narcissism is costing American lives.
The death toll in the U.S. alone is already more than 25,000 — and that’s just what we know about.
It is no exaggeration to say that Trump’s botched response — which focused on downplaying the virus to “protect the economy,” save face, and boost his reelection chances — kept us from getting ahead of this crisis that continues to take the lives of countless Americans. Just look at the facts.
Our latest video lays out a day-by-day account of Trump’s failed response to the coronavirus crisis.

Trump passed on every opportunity to get ahead of this crisis.
His priority has never been public health. It has been about making the virus seem like less of a nuisance so that the “numbers” would “look good” for his reelection.
Only when the stock market crashed did he finally begin to pay attention. Even then he was concerned about bailing out corporations with a massive $500 billion slush fund, rather than helping working Americans or health care workers on the frontlines of this crisis.
This is not leadership. This is the exact opposite of leadership.
Trump wants to rewrite history and deflect blame for his administration’s botched response.
Know the truth.
