Dear John,
People of faith are the backbone of this country.
We believe that our inalienable rights come from God, that our Constitution was put in place to secure the blessings of liberty, and that the First Amendment guarantees we can live out our faith.
But there are many out there who are trying to put an end to our fundamental freedoms that come from God.
They want us to conform and be of the world...to compromise our beliefs and accept their reality.
But God has blessed you and me with the resolve to stand for religious freedom and the courage to fight the good fight for faith.
And this resolve is needed now more than ever as we close out this year of ministry!
Stand Strong for Religious Freedom Today. Make a Greater Difference with Our $400,000 Challenge Grant.
For 35 years, I’ve been fighting back against the threats to religious liberty posed by godless bureaucrats, antifaith activists and faithless woke corporations.
And thankfully, John, people of faith just like you have been fighting alongside me every step of the way.
Together, we’ve won over 90% of the battles.
You and I have won for moms and dads, for pastors and rabbis, for business owners and employees, and for soldiers and chaplains.
You and I made sure that people of faith could gather and worship during the pandemic. We stopped the government from trampling on the First Amendment rights of 35 Navy SEALs. And we restored the right to express our faith in schools, the workplace and the town square.
But the fight for faith is far from over. That’s why your support throughout the month of June is so critical.
It’s Time to be Strong and Courageous. Maximize Your Impact in the Fight for Faith Through June 30th.
This year, there is a resurgence in attacks against houses of worship, pastors and rabbis – the likes of which I haven’t seen in a long time.
Local bureaucrats are using whatever means necessary to keep ministries from fulfilling their most basic mission – serving those in need.
-
In Bryan, Ohio, they’ve criminally charged Pastor Chris Avell for providing a safe place for the town’s most vulnerable to go 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
-
In San Luis, Arizona, they’ve forced Pastor Jose Castro to end his food ministry that has been feeding the hungry in his community for 25 years.
-
In Weare, New Hampshire, they’ve prevented Pastor Howard Kaloogian from hosting religious gatherings in his home and on his property.
-
And now in Castle Rock, Colorado, they’ve canceled Pastor Mike Polhemus’ efforts to provide temporary and emergency shelter for helpless and suddenly homeless people.
Make no mistake, the financial and criminal threats being hurled at these pastors and their respective churches are very real and very dangerous.
They are also illegal and unconstitutional.

John, it’s up to faithful Americans like you to come alongside these pastors and fight with them against the discriminatory actions of these government officials.
By fighting for them, you are also fighting to protect the First Amendment rights of pastors and people of faith all across our nation.
There is no more important time to financially support First Liberty and the fight for faith than now.
In just a few weeks, we will come to a very critical juncture as June 30th marks the end of another year of ministry.
