Hi John,
This evening, we’ll be tuning into ITV to watch Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak go head-to-head at the first general election leaders’ debate. This is an important opportunity for party leaders to spotlight their priorities for this election - and over the next five years. We’re going to be looking out for bold climate and nature ambitions to help protect our future.
We’re calling on Labour party leader Keir Starmer to ask him to strengthen his vision for climate leadership. Will you join us in keeping up the pressure ahead of tonight’s debate?

Labour are leading in the polls, but we need to ensure that Starmer knows that voters across the UK care about climate and nature. [1] This way we can hold them to account for climate action when they form the next government.
To help Keir along, we’ve even identified six areas where it’s absolutely vital for the next government to make progress. [2] From insulating our homes and cleaning up our waterways, none of it is pie-in-the-sky stuff!

Together, we can make politicians listen to the needs of the people this general election!
In solidarity,
