Hello John
Restore Nature Now on June 22nd in London - will be a vibrant display of all we love about nature. Make a colourful banner, prop or costume to show your creativity and express your passion for nature.
These ideas could be used for the march or at any time for a nature-themed action.
The march theme is nature and will have four themed blocks: woods, water, land and air. You or your group could connect with a particular theme and head to that block, but feel free to join any part of the march - we are all nature!
At the front of the march a walking wood is being grown by The Woodland Trust. Bring some paper leaves to shade you from the sun, or dress up as a mushroom.?
After the woods comes the wild creatures of the rivers and seas with an Atlantic salmon surfacing in the water bloc. Are you feeling fishy? Maybe make a jellyfish umbrella and find a shoal to swim along with!
All across the land groups are will combine to make a meadow with jumping hares, wildflowers and wiggly worms! Bring your own magic to the meadow, maybe marching ants or even a fox or sparrow, to show your love for urban wildlife.
At the back of the march - there will be swifts swirling and bees buzzing. Why not pop on some butterfly wings and join the call for a sky full of biodiversity.
