Potentially Costly Trial Postponed!

The Wisconsin Court of Appeals has granted WILL’s request to hear our free speech case in defense of our client’s First Amendment Rights.

This ruling postpones a costly, pointless, and incoherent jury trial for WILL client Scarlett Johnson.

WILL Deputy Counsel, Luke Berg, stated, “For now, this unwarranted jury trial has been put on hold. Scarlett was expressing her opinion on her school district and her government — the First Amendment gives her the right to do so. We stand ready to make our case before the Court of Appeals.”

Scarlett Johnson, stated, “Free speech is a right afforded to every American regardless of your political beliefs. I am grateful that WILL stood alongside me to protect that fundamental right as this case proceeds.”
