Here are three quick reasons why:
- Josh Hawley is the GOP’s most vulnerable U.S. Senator this cycle. Hawley’s approval rating remains the lowest of any Republican incumbent running for re-election in 2024 as he continues to embarrass himself and all of Missouri. Now, with five months until Election Day, multiple polls show Hawley in a statistical tie with 13-year Marine veteran Lucas Kunce.
- Lucas’ unifying message has gained widespread support. Lucas has built a record-breaking, worker-led, people-powered movement to take back this U.S. Senate seat for real Missourians and his message of fundamentally changing who has power in our country is resonating with voters from all parties, all across Missouri.
- Reproductive freedom wins — and it’s on the ballot in Missouri this year. Voters will have the chance to hold Hawley accountable for his career-long crusade to criminalize reproductive healthcare in our country. They’ll also vote on an initiative to end Missouri’s extreme abortion ban. Just like we’ve seen in red states like Kansas, Kentucky, and Ohio, even people who don’t vote in every election turn out to protect their freedoms.
