Conflict is escalating in Rafah and the already desperate condition for thousands of pregnant women in Gaza is getting worse every day.

🔸35,562 people have died, 70% of whom are women & children.
🔸18,500 exhausted and malnourished pregnant women have been forced to flee their homes.
🔸5,522 pregnant women will give birth in the next month with little to no access to care.

UNFPA has been on the ground supporting reproductive health care in Gaza since 1986 and from the moment that conflict escalated last year, we began distributing essential resources and delivering lifesaving care.

Your gifts have delivered a glimmer of hope as famine looms and the health care system is in a state of collapse.

In the past 8 months in Gaza, your gifts have helped UNFPA:

🔹Assist half of all births
🔹Deploy mobile health teams to deliver maternal health services
🔹Train 53 midwives
🔹Distribute menstrual pads to 5,550 women and girls
🔹Reach 10,000 people with mental health services
