Donald Trump’s felony convictions last week made history—and it showed that our justice system can be resilient and effective even under extraordinary circumstances.

As former prosecutors, we can speak to the sentences and consequences that typical defendants in Trump’s position would face and the process going forward, as well as the unprecedented nature of Trump’s conviction.
We’ll also touch on Trump’s immunity case that is currently before the Supreme Court and will be decided this month, and the current Supreme Court ethics crisis.
Our grassroots community is absolutely crucial to our ability to keep up our work – including taking legal actions to pursue transparency and accountability like the complaint we filed that ended up yielding evidence used in the New York case.
We couldn’t do any of our other work fighting for an accountable, ethical government without grassroots support.
