June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the history and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. We honor the legacy of those who bravely stood against discrimination and harassment and recommit ourselves to building a fairer, more inclusive nation for everyone.

This weekend, I welcomed the start of Pride Month at Muskegon Pride!

While we celebrate the progress we've made, there's still significant work to be done, including ensuring legal protections for all LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.
