See you on June 10th!

Dear John,

We are now one month away from the Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly & Moral March on Washington.

On June 29th, thousands from around the country will come to DC to center the stories of poor and low-wage people and issue a call to wake the sleeping giant of millions of poor and low-wage infrequent voters to vote in the 2024 U.S. elections.

Those of us in the DC area have a unique opportunity to attend the assembly on June 29th and help prepare for this critical event.

Here’s how you can help get ready.

  1. Monday June 10th,

  • At 7:00 pm attend the Moral Revival: Clergy-led Prayers and Assembly for Mobilization at Ambassador Baptist Church (1412 Minnesota Ave, SE).

RSVP and get more information here.

  • That morning, at 10:00 am listen by livestream to the Clergy Press Conference.

  2. Thursday June 13th in the evening,

  • in honor of Pride Month, we’re holding an LGBTQ+ Pride Meet-up/Happy Hour. Save the Date! Time and location will be posted on our calendar.

  3. Keep spreading the word about June 29th.

  • Help organize for the June 29th Mass Poor People's & Low Wage Workers' Assembly & Moral March on Washington DC and to the Polls. You can bring a group, email your friends, put a notice in your church bulletin, your group’s newsletter or on social media.
