Building a society where people are treated with dignity and respect, free from fear and violence, and protected against discrimination — regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
It’s Pride Month! We take this month to honor our LGBTQ+ communities and recommit ourselves to fighting for fairness and equality for all.
We must continue the critical work of building a society where all people are treated with dignity and respect, free from fear and violence, and protected against discrimination — regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
Increasingly, our LGBTQ+ communities are under attack from violence and hateful legislation. If we’ve learned anything in recent years, it’s that we must never take the progress that we have achieved in this country for granted. Progress can be reversed if we don’t fight for it.
The United States Constitution guarantees everyone equal treatment under the law — but we still have a ways to go to make this a reality for everyone in our state and country. I’m committed to fighting for equal treatment, protections, and rights for all. Thanks for standing with me.
