Folks: chutzpah is one of my favorite Yiddish words. It means "courage" or "boldness."

My friend and colleague Lisa Blunt Rochester has got a whole lot of chutzpah! She is an inspiration to us all because she carries herself with grit and grace.

The grit to overcome one of the highest glass ceilings in politics and become our nation's fourth Black woman Senator. And the grace to stay focused in the face of unprecedented attacks from national Republicans who will do and say whatever it takes to flip the Senate.
