Hey John, it's Dick Durbin here.

I know my team and I sent a number of fundraising emails ahead of our end-of-month deadline – believe me, sending these emails is not my favorite thing to do. But I thought the least I could do was send one more to say thank you.

These summer months are going to be crucial for Democrats to garner even more support in races up and down the ballot.

Donald Trump and Republicans are poised to do whatever they can to expand their House majority, retake the Senate, and win back the White House.

But what they don't have is the grassroots support of everyday Americans like you. It may be an uphill battle, but I look forward to the challenge. You all are the fighting spirit for me and for Democrats across the country.
