Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Summer 2024

Registration is open for the summer cohort of the Entertainment Community Fund’s eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course!
MBSR uses meditation, gentle yoga and inquiry as a way of training people to relate differently to stresses in their lives. This 8-week course is an evidenced-based training that has been shown to be beneficial for dealing with stress and anxiety while improving overall well-being.
This course is free and requires participants to attend a 90-minute orientation on June 10, as well as a brief one-on-one conversation with the instructor, Kate Tsuruharatani.
The course will take place on eight consecutive Mondays from June 17 through August 5 between 6:30-9 pm ET and includes a day-long retreat on Sunday, July 28.
