When I first decided I was going to run for the United States Senate, I had no idea what to expect. I had won three tough elections, but running statewide for the first time is a whole other ball of wax.

I knew that I had a number of friends and supporters from previous campaigns who would be there to support me, but I also knew it would take a grassroots campaign much larger than any I'd run before to be successful.

So on February 27, 2023, we officially launched my Senate campaign at around 8am. Our press release went out and our video went up online. And then we waited....

Four minutes later, we received a $10 donation from Michele, a customer care representative from Plymouth, Michigan. Five minutes later, a student at Michigan State chipped in $5. Less than a minute later, Ryan from Grawn, Michigan gave $100 and we were off...

More than 150,000 donations later and we're on our way to running the kind of campaign that can overcome our opponent's fundraising AND the super PACs spending to beat us.

Those donations have kept us in the race, but the spending against us has picked up, and that means we need our donations to do the same. So with our next FEC fundraising deadline on June 30th, I am asking:

Can I count on you to contribute to my campaign for Senate? This is a must-win seat that we can't win without your continued support between now and November.
