Should mega companies like Bayer-Monsanto be writing our pesticide safety laws?
[[link removed]]

Friend, we can’t let Bayer-Monsanto get away with this.

At this very moment, two bills are pending in Congress that stand to protect mega pesticide corporations at the expense of local communities’ health. Bayer-Monsanto has poured millions of dollars into backing these bills, which aim to dismantle local government laws that have successfully protected school children and farmers and allowed vulnerable communities to seek compensation for illnesses caused by these companies’ pesticides. These local laws have also protected wildlife and household pets.

For decades, state governments have diligently worked to rein in the use of dangerous pesticides like glyphosate and neonics, both scientifically linked to severe illnesses. But these bills will override these essential protections, so that Bayer-Monsanto can rake in unfettered profit. “Dangerously greedy” would be an understatement.

We’re working tirelessly to combat Bayer-Monsanto’s push to pass these bills and could use as much help as possible. Your support is crucial in this fight. Take our quick survey before midnight tonight to help us build as strong a case as possible against companies that shamelessly put profit before people.
