Donald Trump is a convicted felon.^1

On Thursday, a jury of everyday Americans found Trump guilty of 34
felonies, making him the first president or former president in American
history to be found guilty of a crime.^2 Finally, it's been made clear
that Trump is not above the law. 

Trump broke the law by deceptively hiding critical information from voters
ahead of the 2016 election. This man has a repeated history of election
interference and must be stopped.

Our next step is clear: We must do everything in our power to keep this
man out of the White House.

We must make sure that voters across the country know that he has been
found guilty and are reminded of that fact over and over and over again
until Election Day. We must make sure that this news matters.

Thursday was a historic day but also a very somber one for our nation.

This criminal was our president for four long years. And the latest polls
show him ahead of President Biden in the race to become president again.

While the verdict is a step in the right direction, we know that the only
people who can truly save us from Donald Trump are ourselves.

We must all come together, put our shoulders to the wheel, and use our
people power to defeat Trump once and for all.
